A ministry that cultivates a deep desire for the Word, enabling every young adult to love, relate to, and bring the gospel to those around them.

WHAT WE DO

Discipleship Groups (DG)

Young Adults are grouped into DGs that provide them with a conducive, encouraging, and accountable environment to journey with God. Three key areas that discipleship is done through DGs are the studying of God's Word, memory verses, and an emphasis on kingdom-minded missional living.

Spiritual Fellowship

At YA Connect, we come together as a community to put on faith lenses as we wrestle with issues that young adults go through. We also build new friendships both within and beyond the church through Connect events, camps and mission trips.

Community Outreach

Apart from serving within the Young Adults Ministry, we believe in the importance of serving both the church and the community around us.

Equipping

Focus Groups such as the Spiritual Leadership Development Program (SLDP) and Discipleship Committee are in place to equip individuals in the area of leadership and discipleship.

YA Events

The young adult community gathers together quarterly for various fellowship events! During these gatherings, young adults of all ages to get to know each other better and are spurred on and sharpened as a community of faith.

DG Life

Young adults gather in the context of small groups to grow and journey with one another as disciples of Christ once every two weeks. When we meet as a DG community, we have meals, worship, study God's Word, memorise verses, discuss contemporary issues, and uphold each other in prayer. Our DGs promote embody each generation mentoring the next. Young adults are generally grouped with those closest to their age and/or phase of life, are led by older DG Leaders, and have older DG mentors who join in to share their lived experiences.

Missions

Bartley's heartbeat is characteristically aligned with God's missional heart. Through our Meet-the-Missionary initiative, our YA members have precious exposure, interaction, and engagement time with Bartley's missionaries. We join along to support in blessing them through gifts and prayer, and regularly send YA mission teams out to learn and serve with our partnering missionaries.
