A Missional Church sees itself as a community sent to represent God’s reign by its being, doing and speaking. The small group ministry of the church must be missional in mindset and motivation.
Missional cells are small groups of disciples of Christ who gather regularly to spur one another to love God, love others and fulfil His Great Commission in making disciples. Join a cell today!

Meet our Marriage Mentors
See Onn & Chew Khoon
See Onn works in a fintech company and Chew Khoon is a financial services consultant. They have been married for over 29 years and are blessed with 3 adult children. See Onn volunteers with young children from disadvantaged families and Chew Khoon serves in BSF. They enjoy common hobbies in golf and travelling
James 1:2-3 holds a special meaning for them as they have experienced difficult trials in their marriage because they married young and were ill prepared for marriage. They experienced how the Lord miraculously restored their marriage, matured them and flourished their marriage even till now. Having experienced the Lord’s blessing, they hope to bless couples in the Marriage Preparation programme.
Yock Wah and Choon Siew
Yock Wah and Choon Siew have been best friends since 1991. They first met in 1985, but it was definitely not love at first sight. He was a quiet gentleman; she loved to talk. He ate to live; she lived to eat. No wonder there were absolutely no sparks after their first meeting.
By the grace of God, Yock Wah and Choon Siew are happily married for 27 years. They are proud parents of a daughter and a son, both young adults. Outside of work, they find joy as volunteers with TOUCH Family Services in conducting Marriage Preparation classes. They are accredited Prepare-Enrich facilitators and are also equipped with skills as a Marriage First Responder.
Teck Chuan and Sylvia
Teck Chuan (TC) and Sylvia are married since May 1987. They have three adult children and are proud grandparents of two. They have served together in various church ministries from cell groups, discipleship groups and family life. Both are certified PE facilitators.
TC’s corporate work is in supply chain management and have been working with multiple MNCs in the Asia-Pacific region. His illustrious career had enabled him to travel widely. He is currently working for a pharmaceutical company. Sylvia was a SAHM for two decades after the arrival of their third child. She embarked on a second career as a counsellor who now works part-time in a community hospital.
Star & Grace
Star and Grace are married for more than 30 years and are blessed with three adult children. Star has worked as an Industrial-Organisational Psychologist, university academia, and consultant. Grace worked in the banking industry before working part-time at OMF.
They started worshipping at Bartley in 2000 and joining a cell and attending BSF have helped them grow stronger spiritually and in their marriage. Presently, Star serves as an Elder and Cell Leader, and Grace serves in Kingdom Jewels. Both of them also serves in Family Life Ministry in the Marriage Preparation programme since 2013.

Welcome to Bartley
Thank you for visiting our website.
Bartley Christian Church started in 1962 with a group of 25 school boys who heard the gospel from missionaries and became believers in Jesus Christ. Since then it has grown and today, we are a multi-congregational church with over 30 missionaries sent to various parts of the world.
Each week, we have 7 ethnic (English, Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Nepali, Telugo and Indonesian) worship services and fellowship. We also have cell groups to cater for all ages, a youth ministry (Frontline Youth) and a children ministry (Kingdom Jewels).
We look forward to seeing you with us. Do browse through our website and if you have any questions do drop us a note.
