Family Life

This is our family life ministry for church members and the community. Our aim is to build strong and godly families through role modelling, teaching seminars and workshops, counselling and care. The heart of Family Life Connection is about connecting and strengthening relationships within our Bartley community as well as our own families.  Strong and loving families often translates into a strong and loving church community.

Ministry Highlights for 2018:

FEED 189 Courtship Takes More Than Love

This course is designed for couples who are in courtship (exclusive boy-girl relationship). It will help guide and strengthen the relationship of couples using a biblical framework that integrates biblical principles, evidence-based knowledge and skills. The course is a build-up to Bartley's FEED 190 Marriage Preparation Course.

Time: 7:30 - 10:00 pm

Fee: $100 per couple*

FEED 191 Marriage Enrichment Workshop

A marriage, like your health, needs regular check–ups and nourishment even if it is well. If you and your spouse have not attended a marriage enrichment workshop in the last few years, come and listen to findings and testimonies that strengthen marriage while having an enjoyable and enriching couple time.

Dates/Time: 20 April (7.30-9.30pm ), 21 Apr (9.00am-8.00pm ) & 19 May (6:00 pm-9.30 pm)

Venue: 1) 20 April: Room 3.3, Bartley Christian Church

       2) 21 April, Village Hotel Katong (lunch & dinner provided)

       3) 19 May: Room 3.3, Bartley Christian Church (dinner provided)

Fee: $250 per couple

Maximum # of Participants: 12 couples

DivorceCare/Restore & Rebuild at Bartley Christian Church

If you know of someone who has just been through or who is still struggling with separation or divorce, do ask them to consider participating in our support group. Non-BCC members and pre-believers are also welcome! Each cycle runs from April to November on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 3:00pm to 5:30pm with a vacation break in the month of June. FEED 190 Marriage Preparation Course

The increasing marital breakdown around us is making society more aware of the need to be better prepared for marriages. The best time for preparation is before marriage. Besides face-to-face sessions on the Biblical Basis for Marriage, this preparation course incorporates other supporting fixtures like the PrepareEnrich online customized couple assessment as well as learning exposures with Kingdom Jewels (The children ministry of Bartley Christian Church [BCC]). This course is required of all BCC couples planning to be married in 2018 or 2019

1st Session: 4/8 (6.30-10.00pm)

2nd-4th Session: 10/8, 14/9, 21/9 (7.30-10.00pm) 

Finale: 29/9 (6.30-10.00pm)

Venue: Room 2.12-2.13

Fee: $200 per couple
